Ocean waves

An abundant energy, local and economic, respectful of the environment

The swell can be converted into secondary carbon-free (electricity, hydrogen) and decentralized energies.
SEACAP technology is economical and adaptable to all environmental conditions.

The wave energy contribution on the French coast is estimated at 10-15 GW (Ifremer 2008) with a potential production of the order of 20 to 30 MW per km2 over 4000 h/year. These numbers are likely to increase with ongoing technological advancements.

Beyond energy production, multiple related applications can take place on the platform deck (desalination, microalgae reactors, etc.).
